There are people with authority who use their power to oppress the minority. However, it is the minority who must constantly fight for their rights and show others that they matter and they exist. The composition shows the fists pushing down as a sign of oppression. On the bottom, hands reach out as a sign of peace from the minority who want to be treated equally and no longer be ignored or shunned out for being different.
